This year marks the FIRST Presidential Proclamation in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month! The National Alliance to End Sexual Violence (NAESV), along with Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape (PCAR) and the National Center for Victims of Crime, worked extremely hard over the past several months with the White House as well as the Vice President’s Office to make this happen. In addition, it’s important to note that the Office of Violence Against Women was extremely supportive of this endeavor as well.
